About this course
In this course we will learn the whole process to create a silicone mold with a plaster mold from an original piece of clay. We will properly prepare the plaster, apply the different layers on the silicone and give the counter mold the necessary thickness and stability.
We will also see how to unmould the original piece, clean and lower the voravius, prepare the mold for casting and make a first copy in plaster. Finally, we will learn how to remove the copy without damaging it, check for possible bubbles and let it dry before applying a patina.
A practical course to understand how flexible molds work and learn how to make reproductions in plaster or other casting materials.
