About this course
You will learn how to transform a plaster, cement or resin mask using a polychrome patina built in layers. We will prepare the surface with shellac and work with different acrylic tones—pumpkin, blue, yellow, green and red—to create warm and cold contrasts, give depth to the face and integrate the decorative leaves with the rest of the piece.
Throughout the course we will see how to dilute the paint, apply it with transparencies, progressively intensify the color and correct excesses without losing the original texture. Finally, we will unify and slightly age the tones with a new layer of shellac and protect the result with satin spray varnish.
